The cut of rap music, specific to speech, to poetry, to rhythm. The combination of familiar music and the Arabic language forms a new structure, a local creation that moves between East and West.

The quest for a movement language brings me to a physical investigation in the hopes that the use of this unique music in a language that is at once close and far will generate a closeness and connection amongst the people of this complex and fascinating city of ours.
